We are part of the Korean diaspora, one of the farthest-flung in the world. Let’s join other migrants to ensure fair and humane treatment here in Korea, especially at work.
Do you think we deserve to legally earn a living in our motherland? (F-4 visa holders are restricted from many jobs that returned adoptees gravitate to, especially those in the services industries.)
All without ROK citizenship, including Korean intercountry adoptees, can be fined and deported by the immigration department for many different reasons; one simple example of this is failing to report an address change within ten business days. Is this just?
Let’s stand together to ensure a safe, dignified life for all! 투쟁!
SPEAK will offer a solidarity statement at the rally organized by the MTU (Seoul-Gyeonggi-Incheon Migrants’ Trade Union) Alliance for Migrants’ Equality and Human Rights, and the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions.
